Some of the happiest memories of my playing career....

Alans passion for tennis helped to create such a unique atmosphere at Hazelwood.  Everyone working together to be the best we could be.  I loved my training days on court (Alan swinging his golf club!), and looked forward to the discussions at lunch - Alan was always able to stimulate healthy debate with his probing questions.

He had 'tennis' running through his veins, and will be remembered as one of the most influential Performance coaches in the UK

A great motivator, who wasn't afraid to stand up to authority for what he believed in

Alan, I'll be doing some 'aggressive 20's' in your memory this week and, as ever, I'll be aiming to hit it "10% harder"
