What this wonderful man did for our family and what he meant and still means to us is beyond words. Outside family, I can’t imagine anyone who genuinely cared about my son more than Alan Jones. Just like family, we can often take that presence, that love and support for granted until it is snatched away and then it dawns on you what you actually had and how you hadn’t fully appreciated it. What an honour and a privilege to have know Alan and to have witnessed his unrelenting desire for the best for my son and our family. He was much more than a fantastic coach. He was a mentor, a friend, a philosopher, a psychologist, a visionary. A truly remarkable human being. Alan Jones, may you rest in peace.
